Corporate Philosophy
"Global business development with corporate social responsibility,
an ethical purpose and a social, environmental and moral conscience."
The Fazio Group’s corporate philosophy is summarized in the phrase, “business with a social conscience”.
The principle of social responsibility represents the fundamental guiding principle of our corporate objectives, direction, operations and activities and fully guides The Fazio Group’s “impact investment” objectives. “Impact investment” is the concept of bridging investment for profit with social development and harnessing social ethic to economic purpose, thereby providing a double dividend to the investment.
Our corporate philosophy and aspirations are centered on being a moral, ethical and responsible global corporate citizen while pursuing the four net bottom line “impact investment” operational objectives, of providing positive social, environmental, health and economic benefits to society at large, the countries we operate in and to our partners, clients, customers and shareholders.
The cornerstone of our philosophy is good corporate governance, social responsibility, ethical operations and environmental stewardship & sustainability.
All products manufactured by the Group’s companies are manufactured using industry best practices, while generating minimal environmental impact and a minimal carbon footprint.
Social responsibility encompasses the notion of corporate citizenship, whereby the ultimate aim of our corporate activities is to contribute to the socio-economic development of the communities and countries in which we operate and conduct business in.
Our activities in these communities and countries principally support those programs which focus on improving the quality of lives and dignity of the poor, marginalized, less fortunate and underprivileged members of society through employment, education, health programs and wealth creation and, additionally, through grants, provision of microcredit/microfinance and by supporting various global, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and bi-lateral and multi-lateral development programs, aimed at alleviating poverty and creating and fostering employment, education, health and wealth creation in rural communities.
